5 Reasons Why You Should Do A Cruise

Doing a cruise has always been a dream of mine that seemed so far out of reach. That was until one day my best friend decided to ask me to go with her when she received two cruise tickets as a college graduation present. I immediately said yes! We did the Norwegian Escape for a week and it was everything I ever dreamed of. I personally think everyone should experience a cruise at least once in their life and here’s five reasons why!

1. It’s a great way to visit multiple countries in a short period of time!

Our cruise was supposed to make three stops during our week on board: the Bahamas, Grand Cayman Islands, and Jamaica. Due to the weather, we couldn’t make it to Jamaica but more time on the cruise ship made up for it! Both the Bahamas and Grand Cayman Islands were insanely beautiful and although we only stopped for a day at each, it was all worthwhile. You really have to make the most out of your time at your destinations when doing a cruise!

2. There are a ton of activities to do on a cruise!

From karaoke bars, to casinos, to live shows and performances, pool parties, water parks, comedy shows, themed parties, and so much more. You seriously can’t get bored on your cruise with the amount of things to do. The cruise line makes sure everyone stays happy and busy, and they offer a ton of activities for all ages!

3. It’s a great way to meet new friends!

Being on a cruise with the same people for a week, you’re bound to meet so many people from all parts of the world. Socialize and make the most out of your time on and off the ship!

4. It’s a vacation that doesn’t require much planning!

Planning a vacation can be such a hassle. When doing a cruise, your plans are easy to make as the cruise lays out so many onboard activities and the days off of the ship. No booking hotels or transportation at each destination. You just pick your cruise line, itinerary, and cabin and then off you go!

5. It’s a ton of fun!

This one speaks for itself-the destinations, cruise line workers, and the people you meet will all play a role in the amount of fun you will have on a cruise!

These days there are a ton of cruises to choose from and the best part about it is that they go anywhere in the world! Do yourself a favor and the next time you’re planning a vacation, consider doing a cruise!
